Facebook suffers a data breach leaking the personal information of over 500 million users in April 2021. Personal data from 533 million Facebook accounts have reportedly been leaked online for free. 32 million United States users have been affected.

The Facebook data that was leaked was massive. The data includes:

  • Facebook IDs
  • Full names
  • Dates of birth
  • Telephone numbers, and
  • Email addresses

In a statement, Facebook reports that this data breach was scrapped because of a fixed vulnerability in 2019.
