BEFORE YOU SUBMIT AN ARTICLE OR A TOPIC FOR CONSIDERATION, PLEASE READBEST VIRTUAL PARALEGAL’S COMPLETE GUIDELINES AND PRIVACY POLICIES.

• a passion for and strong understands of the virtual, in-house, and remote paralegal industries;
• an understanding of the working relationship between lawyers and paralegals;
• a basic understanding of Best Virtual Paralegal’s target audience and community’s wants, needs, problems, solutions, and current trends;
• expert problem-solving skills and insights legal professionals are seeking from an online community;
• exceptional writing skills are required;
• no previous professional writing or blogging experience necessary;
•  contributors must be 18 years of age or older and must reside in the United States of America; and

All Contributors must be able and willing to execute legally binding waivers and confidentiality documents.

• Once a Contributor is accepted and invited to contribute to Best Virtual Paralegal’s Community, he or she author original articles about topics relating to the United States of America’s legal industry and the current trends affecting legal professionals, including but not limited to: attorneys, paralegals, virtual, freelance and remote attorneys, paralegals, and law firms.
• Contributors are also responsible for writing articles about technology that influences the legal industry and virtual paralegals and virtual law firms;
• Contributors work with Best Virtual Paralegal’s editorial and leadership team to meet all publishing deadlines; work with Best Virtual Paralegal regarding layout and graphics.
• Should you wish to write for BVP, we ask you to email a query of interest consisting of a few paragraphs outlining what you plan to say, why it is important and interesting to the paralegal profession.
• All submissions must be for educational purposes. Submitted works will be edited as needed for style, content, and length. And the BVP reserves the right to reject the publication of an article for any reason.

• Article length:  1,200 to 1,760 words ;
• Post titles: APA-style caps, no more than 50 characters in length;
• At least one keyword or phrase;
• No more than three hashtags.
• Images and graphics

• Format: JPG or PNG;
• Size: No larger than 600 pixels wide;
• Must contain no texts;
• Sourcing: Source images at the end of the post and include links for attribution if required.

If Contributors fail to provide an image, one will be provided for the final publishing spread.

• Selected Contributors should supply a brief biography (approximately 50 words) describing his or her expertise;
• The bio may include links to a personal blog or LinkedIn profile; and
  Contributors must supply a 100 by 100-pixel headshot to include with his or her bio.
